I’m Masa Z. Edie — a Product Design Manager with over a decade of experience at the intersection of product design, content strategy, and UX research, I thrive on shaping user-centered experiences that are both intuitive and impactful.
Currently at Credit Karma, I lead cross-functional design teams with a focus on delivering meaningful, financially empowering products. My journey has included roles at standout brands like Instagram, Disney, Kaiser Permanente, and TrueCar, where I’ve led content strategy efforts, conducted deep user research, and helped launch user-first design systems.
My path has been anything but linear.
From teaching English in Italy to hosting a bilingual entertainment radio show, to managing TV commercial production, every step has added a new layer of empathy, curiosity, and storytelling finesse to my toolkit.
Fluent in English, Italian, and Farsi, I bring a global perspective to product design. I’m also an advocate for AI, design thinking, and emerging technologies, always eager to explore how we can use them to solve real human problems.
Whether I’m running a design sprint, mentoring team members, or jamming on content strategy frameworks, I bring positive energy, strategic insight, and a collaborative spirit to everything I do.
